summer vacation is almost over; pondering being a boy next year.

Hello everyone/no one ( because who reads this anyways? )! I haven’t posted in forever and have probably lost a lot of people who might have read. But whatever, I’m not after internet fame.

Well, summer vacation is a month from ending. It was fun, but I know I have to go back to school. For all the time I’ve been in school, about ten years, these same people know me as a girl with a name that I no longer claim to be my own. I want to be known and treated as a boy, although I’m unsure how to go about telling teachers and even worse, kids. With teachers, I kind of have a speech prepared, basically saying that I’d like to be called Chase and referred to as a boy, or as an alternative, ask them to try to avoid pronouns in reference to me. If they have a problem with that, I can always take it up with the administrators. But about my friends or peers, I don’t know. I think I’ll just ask them to call me my chosen name. I’m unsure.
What do you advise?
